Money back from Fadesa...

PostPosted: Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:07 pm

Almost 6 months ago I decided to request my funds back from Fadesa, around £21.5k and to date I have received excuse after excuse, no response, then promises of payment and you guessed it nothing. - Is anyone in the same situation, has anyone had their money back or know of someone who has?

I've been in touch with Mariam Samir, Mouhcine Mestassi and my french speaking associate has telephone Mrs Safae and still nothing.

I had a 2 bed penthouse in AP1.

Any information greatly appreciated.

I think in an older post they claim that they have to sell the property before they send you the money

We queried this and checked the contract and Fadesa just keep saying that they will make the payment due and then they come up with another excuse etc.... They do get a lot of bad press on the net re quality, not adhearing to contracts etc

Seen that in another forum year ago.6 months & no sign of payment i think they just don't have the money or want to pay. That company that bought a lot of them they sold some .But did not hear any thing after that .I think they may have just dumped them back on GFM.So they just do a bodged job on the others & ask for the money.

I did think about doing that with the weak pound. But then decided to carry on with it.Then you see what happened to ap1.The decision seems to be cancel & hope they pay up while the pound is weak or carry it through hoping they sort out the quality issue. No need for an umbrella inside

do they charge an admin fee

We must be patient and sereint
This is not a time to sell.
The problem of water infiltration is metrizable. it will inject resin into the terraces and balconies.
Before this summer everything will be in order without any charge.
They work seriously on it

I think everyone has been more than patient with them.

I think the-pieman has been more than patient .Done everything they asked & still they not payed up. Squirm & squirm 1.2.3 months a year

almost of the problems & hassle are down to them

Maybe they have tryed just not very well

Incompetence is not an excuse

they have just pissed me off so much

They really have a responsibility to inform us of the changes they are making to improve AP1. Have they already put the resin injections? Did you hear from them Frenchy that they will do this? Have they said anything about the downpipes? How can we be sure that the balcony floors above us will not collapse?

I suggest that we do not sign untill they make all these changes, otherwise we will be in worse trouble next March. They are more likely to do it before we sign, once they have your money they are not interested in doing the repairs.

My apartment is completely furnished the problem is more serious than you.

After 6 months and lots and lots of effort I have just got the majority of my deposit back (less 25%).... and I have been involved with recovering money for about 15 years... And this company do come up with some great stalling tactics, false hoops to jump through etc.... I am glad I can put the last 3.75 wasted years in this regard behind me... Good luck all who stick with it and all who don't....

I do not think is the right solution
After having paid a quarter of the price for a little over 3 years and recover his deposit in losing 25% in favor of Fadesa . make your calculation.
the problems encountered by infiltration have not prevented the people
the purchase request is high and prices have jumped
. Because you can change a flat but not the place.

You don't lose 25%.
The Dirhan/Euro are 25% stronger than when you paid the deposit!

The money back from Fadesa was in Dirhams or in euros.
because if it 'was in dirhams must be redeemed the euro more expensive and it still aggravate the loss.
