Visit To AP2 Oct 09

I am visiting the Golden Sands development aka AP2 this month as I put a deposit down on a 3 bed ground floor flat two years ago and it seems this part of the development is nearing completion. I am flying to Gib then taking the fast ferry. I will be there between 17th and 21st Oct. A few questions:

* Does anyone need any photos or anything looking into?
* Does anyone have an apartment that I could rent close by, maybe in AP1?
* Can anyone recommend car hire in the locality?
* Does anyone want to meet up for a chat?
* It's a while since I last visited Morocco so any tips would be appreciated.

I would appreciate pictures of AP-4 (it is located to the right from AP-2). To see if there is progress. I was told by GFM completion is scheduled somewhere around april/may 2010.

Places to stay: for example IBIS Hotel at Fnideq near frontier with Ceuta. In Fnideq few minutes from alcudia smir you could find car hire. From fnideq to tangiers is 40/45 minutes drive and 30 minutes to Tetuan.

I'll do my best to gather the above info / photos. Azur, the company selling AP2 has informed me that it is unlikely to be completed by December. Perhaps by the time it is completed the pound will have rallied a bit!

Have also bought in AP2 - have heard the last estimate was completion by end of Jan 2010.

Have just got back and need to catch up on some work so will post pics and more info at the weekend. Just to let you know though that the representative of the AP2 developers that I met said a likley completion date would be towards the end of 2010. He didn't know much about AP4 or AP5 but thought that they were unlikely to be completed before AP2. From the outisde V1 looks like it's almost finished - just some landscaping to be done.
