I have puchased a 2 bed pent in AP1 but have heard nothing from GFM yet, anyone else in the same boat?

Thanks

HEARD NOTHING

I have bought a villa in V1 and I also have heard nothing. For me the longer the wait the better, because of the pound.

Snippy,
I recently stayed in an apartment complex "Jawira Smir" just across the road from Soifitel for 2 weeks for reasonable rent and it gave me a great sense of the area. He will do short stays at a fraction of the price;

Thank you for those websites. Did you speak to Hatim about snagging and fit out of your appartment? Looks like you could furnish yourself for alot cheaper than he is offering but the convenience factor sounds pretty good.

Myself and a friend are buying two 2 bed pents which we need to furnish, i'm thinking if there were a few more with simialr requirements we could club together and furnish them all for alot less than £4k.

I'm down there next month and will make enquiries in Tangiers.

Snippy,
I think he's your man for snag lists, managing the property etc. Himself and his wife make a great team. In relation to the furniture pack, from what i've seen he does a very good job. I'm sure you can strike a deal.

I have not heard anything either.

It may be cheaper to buy the furniture yourself.

Furniture

On another forum, Expat Focus, they recommend Kitea (local Ikea in Morocco) and Layalits.
Also recommended on this other site is www.moroccan-living.com but price is similar.
Ikea is opening in Jerez, mainland Spain but dont know the driving time from ferry.

Hi Snippy

I will be there between 17th and 21st Oct. I have put a deposit down on a 3 bed ground floor flat in AP2. Let me know if you're there at the same time and would like to meet up for a chat.
